What to know before we dig
The oldest town on Cape Cod, Sandwich has a historic village around Shawme Pond and the Boardwalk, and newer neighborhoods inland around Forestdale. Older lots near the village and the marsh can need extra review, while the inland neighborhoods tend to have room for a full build.
Larger inland yards suit a gunite pool with a spa, and we keep up weekly care for clients this far west.
Anywhere on the Cape, a few rules travel with every pool: Massachusetts requires a barrier around it, most homes are on septic, so the leach field decides where the pool can sit, and lots near water or wetlands go through the town's Conservation Commission.
